New LP with Bill Frisell and Julian Lage (music by John Zorn) now available for pre-order!

Many of you know that I had the extreme pleasure of recording an album recently with Bill Frisell and Julian Lage (two of my favorite guitar players on the planet)…and I’m happy to announce that it is now available for pre-order on vinyl! The music composed by John Zorn is really beautiful, and the cover art features Giovanni Bellini’s The Ecstasy of Saint Francis, which will look awesome on a big fat LP! Now is the best time to support Tzadik Records, a label that has given voice to so many wonderful artists worldwide. They were hit hard by the demise of Pledge Music and were never paid for John Zorn’s epic Masada Book 3 (11 albums, including a duo album of Julian Lage and myself called Chesed, now available as an individual CD as well).
